I have a bunch of business meetings this week with, like, actual people, so before work, I stopped by the dry cleaner to pick up some of my suits. I haven’t had much reason or occasion to get dressed up lately, so it’s a bit weird to have to think about looking presentable and stuff.
I guess it’s been a while since I dropped off my clothes at the dry cleaner because it took them 5evah to track down my clothes. The cashier lady was all, “Sir, what color are your suits?” And I was all, I dunno, maybe navy pinstripe? And the cashier lady was all, “Can you be more specific?” And I was all, I dunno, navy pinstripe Calvin Klein?
After letting the carousel spin for what seemed like an eternity, eventually the cashier lady tracked down my suits. As I was paying, the cashier lady said, “You shouldn’t let your clothes sit here for so long!” And I was all, Yeah, it’ll probably be another year before I’m back, so there’s that! Then the cashier lady was all, “Um, OK, then!”
