Speaking of ice cream, the Busy-Lazy boys had lychee ice cream topped with mochi balls for dessert tonight. What are mochi balls, you ask? You know those mini-marshmallow-like thingies that all of those fancy-schmancy fro-yo joints have these days? Apparently you can buy them at the Chinese market now. If you like mochi (and who doesn’t?) or if you like marshmallows (and who doesn’t?), then you’ll lurve mochi balls.
The only weird-slash-potentially horrifying thing about mochi balls is that they are allegedly self-stable and last for nearly six months. Maybe because they’re made mostly of plastic, sugar and air? Whatevs.
