Speaking of busy business lady problems, I had a lovely lunch meeting with a dear gal pal who happens to be an actual busy business lady (opposed to most of my busy business lady colleagues, who are, in fact, actually dudes and not ladies at all). We went to a swank rooftop beer garden eatery that’s conveniently located on the 15th floor of my office building. I mean, it’s not Barney’s Rooftop Deck Restaurant, so I couldn’t order my nee-koise salad, but whatevs.
My friend ordered a salad and veggies, while I had a Giant Chunk of Beer and Apricot Braised Pork Shoulder. It was awight. I’m kidding! It was delicious!
Even though we talked busy business lady business for most of our meal, our conversation inevitably led to talk about kids and stuff. Have I become that guy who everypony sees and thinks, It’s all about kids? Is it because I have LEGO in my pockets? Sheesh.
