After breakfast, business papa held down the fort with the kids, while busy daddy and designing daddy went on a leisurely bike ride on the boardwalk to Asbury Park. If the only thing you know about Asbury Park is through Bruce Springsteen songs, you’d probably be surprised to hear that the town is (has been?) going through a revitalization. The boardwalk is now lined with fancy shops and restaurants, and the center of town is even fancier. Still, it’s a town in transition and there are still pockets of urban decay. But it feels and looks optimistic.
Looks like it’s shaping up to be a nice day for the beach!
